If you don't know the difference between a "clip" and a "magazine", you shouldn't be allowed to own a gun. Period.

yea I know. There is no such thing as a "magazine"....they are called assault clips.

I've known plenty of people from the WWII generation, people who served in Korea and Viet Nam who thought the government pistol ran on clips.
I'm not the one to tell them any different. If they've given service to their country and use the wrong word,
I think they should get a pass. Knowing what the thing does, is much more important than what the thing is called.

IIRC, some of the early 1911 manuals called the mags clips.
