So it must be worth more!! Starting to think that some folks think that gun guys pay zero attention to prices on weapons. Or took it on the nose when they bought it and now want to recoup what they over paid!!! I see items listed for more than I can find it new a lot!!

It goes both ways man. Reality is, it is only worth what someone will pay you. You can post a fair price on this site and others and guys will be trying to knock your head off 10 minutes after you post it with low ball offers. You also see certain folks on here that do more deals than an FFL. I could go on and on but whats the point.

True. I have never had a problem on here as long as I deal with established members who have substantial posts. Those who contribute to the discussions, who actually use OSA as a social forum and not just another site like armslist to try to foist their often times over priced items on trusting members who feel good about buying selling or trading with another OSA “member.”. So caveat emptor brah.

Typically, I price things at ~70% of retail. Less if its condition isn’t super great. I have sold at a break even on one item in my life: an SSG3000.

I think a lot of folks price high for the inevitable haggling. Some are just deluded.
