10 years from now the market will be full of used 6920’s for $3000 like the anacondas are now.

LOL - I’ve got a Colt 6920 with the A3 carry handle that I bought new a couple of years ago. Never got around to shooting it - been shooting ARs I built instead. It’s been stored in a climate controlled safe and I have the original box and paperwork. All yours for $5K. [emoji3]

Sounds like Colt has realized they no longer have the market cornered and can't keep up with the competition . . .

This. The MSM is spinning it as "Colt has come to our side of the debate", but Colt acknowledged that the AR market is oversaturated and they want to shift their focus on handguns. I think the success of the new Cobra and King Cobra is a significant influence.

The first AR I bought was a DPMS from TK supply at a gun show in tulsa back in summer of 06. I paid $740 for it, Now I can build one for a little over half that. Mr. Harley128 bought it from me.
