I use a M105 (deuce and a half) military trailer with 12" side boards. I can get right at 6000# in it loaded like seen in the picture. Best thing is I bought the trailer from a military surplus auction out of Ft. Sill and it came with the vinyl cover and support bows. I turned around and sold the cover and bows for what I paid for the trailer, so it's a free trailer!!!! This year I paid $130 per ton for last years corn.

Heck of a deal. Wish I had a trailer like that for that purpose, and a shed to leave it sitting in.

If the rain holds off, I might head to Red Rock Firearms for a little range time then stop by Garber for some corn. Stop by the lease on the way home and fill feeders up. Gonna be a full day.

I use a military surplus M-101A1 3/4 ton for my bulk corn. I can get 1600 lbs in it with and still have about an inch of suspension left. Tilts like a dump truck bed too so when it gets low, just tilt the bed and all the corn goes to the back end for easy access.

One of these would be pretty handy I reckon.

I've been looking for a grain buggy with a hydraulic auger to load feeders for many years. They go extremely high at auctions in terrible shape. This one is a huge model. I'm looking for the smaller 100 bushel models the farmers used back in the day when a 40 hp combine was the norm with no cab. They are out there, but everyone is looking at them too.
