Does anyone have current experience with Boys Life magazine?
Is it still non-political? Is it good for a 4 year old?

It's fairly centered possibly even right leaning slightly, as it is alot of outdoors activities and attempts to shape boys into young men. 4 may be a little young, but it's a good magazine to grow into.

I grew up as a scout. We were a scouting family. We did it all...scout-o-rama, pinewood derby, everything. Boy's Life magazine was a big part of my childhood. I miss the simple things of the 1970s.

It's a decent magazine, but primarily about scouting. My boys would both look through it, but didn't wait by the mailbox for it by any means. Definitely need to be able to read to enjoy it.

Younger kids highlights would be a better option, once he gets old enough then look into boys life, I was a scout once not very long though and boys life was pretty interesting at the time. But most magazines have gone digital anymore, its hard to find good ole fashion paper made magazines anymore.
