Rich Black athletes have taken it upon themselves to be champions of racial rights in the US like the NFL.
When it comes to China, a country that has more basketball players than there are people in the US, the NBA has aquissed to their communist policies and apologised to them.
The issue is the shoe endorsements. Yep you heard that right. Shoes. The ballers organization gets more money from china from shoes than it does in the US.

The big double standard. The race that screams racism the most is the same that name their organizations after the color of their skin.
I see that as racism in itself.

China feeds the NBA, without the Chinese generated cash, just how in the heck is the NBA going to pay the players those astronomical amounts of money to play a sport ?
ETA: Works for Baseball as well and Soccer across the pond.... And any number of sports that simply make too damn much money for doing what they do. JMTC! (just my .02 cents)
