Don't be too anxious to retire. Once you do, you'll find yourself busier than before! The honey-do list will both astound and intimidate you. Ask me. I know. Been "retired" for 8 years now.

As a guy who retired 6 days after I became eligible just a word of caution. Be sure you are ready to retire and not just sick of your job. I rode a motorcycle around the country for a couple of years and I play quite a bit of golf now. There are some long days and if you don’t keep yourself busy it’s easy to get bored. Just a PSA. 9 months will fly by. The 8 years since I retired certainly have. They don’t even listen to me anymore when I call to complain about my mail service. [emoji35]
