I found a shoe which I believe is a real game changer. They are called KIZIK (google it). They allow you to just step into them without breaking down the back side or having to tie laces. Really "hands free". I bought a pair yesterday after seeing them online and I was amazed. Not cheap, but they are leather and should last.

Give them a look-see

I appreciate the info. I'm always in the market for durable - comfortable shoes. I'm hard on shoes and buy a few pair each year.

I picked up 2 pair of Tommy Bahamas shoes while in Vegas a few weeks ago. I highly recommend their 'Relaxology' line of slip on shoes. They are expensive as hell most of the time, but found these at a their store while we were there eating lunch. Picked up a blue/white pair, and brown/white pair (pictured below) for $60 each off of their clearance rack. Most comfortable shoes I've had in a while. So far they seem to be holding up well. The leather seems to be of excellent quality, and laces appear to be very strong.

I had a pair of and 1 slip ons I had back in my high school days that I really liked. I lost one and have no idea where it went, maybe to a parallel universe.
