I’ve got the guns just need to know what licenses I need. My daughter is good friends with a girl whose family had a 100 acre weekender ranch. The girls dad has been hosting them for the last few years. He asked if I wanted to come down and try to get a pig or two. Heck yeah! So, do I just need a tx non resident hunting license?

Private property and a non game animal, or nuisance animal, I'll guess and say you need nothing but should be able to find a Texas fish and game ph# and ask to make sure.. Where about's if ya don't mind saying..

That was supposed to have a ? At the end sorry. There's not a lot of public in Texas, but I was just wondering if that was the rule for both
Oh ok. I do not know about the public land regulations in Texas. I know the county game warden where I have access to private land was friendly when I called to ask. I am not really sure of when the law was changed, but about a year ago, if you were self guiding and hunting hogs no license was necessary, but if you were paying an outfitter you needed an exotic game license IIRC.
