Many people prefer wood stocked firearms. I would love to have one with wood that used P89 mags.

Depends on the goal. Not everyone wants every gun to be high speed low drag.

Exactly. I am trying to trade my Saiga AK for a Mini 30 with a wood stock right now. I just prefer wood and a rear mounted peep sight. Catch me in the right mood and I might trade it and all my 7.62x39 ammo, for a Marlin Camp 9 and a S&W 659. Many of us just like the look and feel of a wood stock. Heck my go to rifle is a No 4 MK1 with wood. Forearm was shortened by the importer and I have thought about replacing it with an composite stock but just can not bring myself to do it.

I have an ultra light AR. And want my pistols to be light. But I also have a bolt gun that I just put a heavier barrel on, and old revolvers with wood grips, and lever gun with blued steel and a wood stock.
