I don't know much about your situation, but I think you should probably listen to your wife. Wives are NEVER wrong. At least that's what my wife tells me. And since they are never wrong, I assume she must be right.

I said all that to say... you should probably listen to your wife.

Just a bunch of separated and fractured ribs. They screwed up and did something to my heart with all the different meds they put me on and I keep getting fluid on my lung. Nothing that should keep me from mowing the yard, fixing the roof or moving furniture. I am a manly man, or at least I use to be. Seriously the docs say I should not bend over because it compresses my ribs and I can not breathe easily. I am still thinking about cutting up as much of my old carpet as I can and hauling it out. I may not be able to move the heavy furniture but I can get as much done as possible to make it easier on the guys.

Thank you. I am leaving the date up to the guys doing it as I can work around the schedule except for doc visits. I think my next one is on the 30th with a heart doc.

Well Wednesday is going to be interesting, but good I think. Not only are a couple of you coming by to pull up my living room carpet, and a friend coming by to check out our roof. Now it seems the buddy that is giving us a TV has it scheduled to come that day too. Now all I need is my nurses to decide to come that day too.


Oh and for lunch that day I am making a big pot of chili and skillet of sweet onion cornbread. About the only way I can feed everyone. Tea and water will be available to drink.
