I could see it being a fun range toy or something to stick it to the Commiefornia arse holes.

That is God awful! I can usually find something positive about anything, but this one is tough. Most positive thing I can think of is that this is so bad that it will be an unpopular failure so in 50 or 75 years, it will probably be worth a mint to collectors.

JB: The lower tube on the Red Ryd-AR is for aesthetics only, just to stay with the Red Ryder BB gun theme. I did design a camming feed system that would eliminate the box magazine, using a spring-actuated feed system that relied on the reciprocation of the BCG. While functional in theory and prototyping, I abandoned that design for a few reasons.

To me, I think it’s like a Vespa or a Fat Chick. Fun as hell to ride just don’t let your buddies see you.

But in all seriousness, I think it would be a fun gun to shoot. Take the fun of say a 336 lever and take the power down from 3030 to 223. You could really rip off some rounds. Put on a 30 round mag and send it. Who gives a damn what it looks like? Would I buy one, highly unlikely. Would I stand in line to shoot it at SHOT show, hell yeah.
