I fly fish in Mineral County Colorado every year. We fish small creeks that feed into the Upper Rio Grande mostly and catch lots of small to medium brookies, browns, cutthroats and rainbows. I actually tied flies for a few years before I even took up fishing. Once duck season ends in January, it's time to start filling up the fly boxes again.

I throw the fly all over New Mexico and Colorado. Our second year to spend the summer in the mountains.

Nice brown there Dennis.
Your picture of the Upper RG looks like it's right outside our cabin near Creede. What mountain is that in the background?
For the life of me I can't remember the name. I'll get google earth out later and see if I can spot it and get the name. We are going to spend a month right on the banks of the Rio Grande next summer in the RV.
