Earlier this week. Oxford University student council voted to abolish clapping at all future commencement ceremonies because it's offensive to the hearing impaired with sensory sensitivity.
“Loud noises, including whooping and traditional applause, are argued to present an access issue for some disabled students who have anxiety disorders, sensory sensitivity and/or those who use hearing impairment aids,” the UK student council representatives wrote in a statement on Oct. 23."

Are you shatting me? Our snowflakes are so sensitive now they consider noise like clapping when those that are hearing impaired are in a room with those that are not?
I've had a major hearing loss since the 70's when in my 20's.
How about all of you STFU when I'm in attendance at an ENS at one of our ranges? I might be offended by golly!!
Some of you hit the keyboards too hard! QUIT!!! I'm offended.
WTF is this snowflake world going to do next? What could possibly be the next "offensive" thing that these shrunken minds be thinking?
I'm offended by reading the link.

Here, but occasionally There.
Sorry, Dennis, but they are in the U.S. as well.

There was a recent (somewhat) video clip of a meeting of snowflakes somewhere at which they were supposed to raise their hands and wiggle their fingers instead of clapping. Others in the group kept getting "triggered" by other offenses such as "gender profiling" by calling the group "guys."

I hope that someday;

These liberal snowflakes end up pushing the wrong buttons on the wrong person & get stepped on & squished so hard they will not want to get back up.

A lot of this younger generation wouldn't be hard of hearing if they would keep their stereos turned down, there is no need in someone hearing your car stereo 1 mile away, and i find that offense and a violation of my privacy of peace and quite.

This will soon be followed with a ban on whispering due the pain incurred by craning your neck to listen in and the stress of thinking someone is covertly talking about you.:angry3:

It's extremely disturbing and harmful to anyone with a pencil neck and/or coping with paranoia and/or an inferiority complex.:crying:

Whispering could lead to mass murder. :fullauto:

Just don't overcompensate by yelling. :scream:
