Sometimes beginner's luck is all one needs. Incredible fish.

I've had amazing luck with craft fuzz balls on sunfish. Super cheap to tie on.
They are called San Juan worms, just a piece of red chaneil threaded on a hook with a drop of glue to hold it, but they can be the all around killer bait. Better on some streams than others, but you always catch something.

I've been meaning to get the stuff to tie those. I'll get some made before spring.

Who fly fishes here?

Sent via carrier pigeon

Tried it years ago, it wasn`t pretty and I`m fairly certain that from a distance I probably looked like I was having a seizure but I managed to catch a few Bass on a local farm pond. I give that rig to youngster who wanted to give a try.

I’m somewhat new but I enjoy fly fishing. Just bought another rig today actually. Syndicate 10’4wt and lamson liquid reel for euro nymphing. I love the rivers and streams of East Tennessee and Cherokee,NC

I tried the euro nymphing last month in Colorado. It's different, but can be really effective.
