I've used Rock Auto in the past, but recently ordered from parts geek simply because it was cheaper. I'd use either one again, no issues with them!

The big problem with RA is the multiple shipping points.

They ship from different locations, and will charge freight from each. The trick is to figure out how to get the most parts shipping from one place.

Absolutely. I was ordering airbag sensors last month, thought I'd replace my gimpy running light, added 2 to the order for an extra eighty cents, added $7 in shipping.

you can negotiate prices at O'Reilly's.

I have done that quite a few times.
Last time it was for oil filters PF1233 AC filters I have 3 cars that use them and I got 30 filters for a tick under 3 bucks each.
Rock auto has them for $2.84 So they got really close to Rock Auto.

I have been there a few times.
My car is a cruiser also.
Only set it up with a tunnel-ram and gears and converter to beat up on my buddy.
Right now it has the RPM intake and 750 edelbrock 370 gears and a tight converter.

I recently installed AC in it.
and pulled my 20 foot pontoon to Texas side of Texoma lake August of this year.
AC blowing and windows up.
Cruiser - work car- parts chaser- drag car when the time arises and hunting vehicle.
I use my stuff like you would not believe.

here is what it looked like after some primer and body work. then paint job faded out in 1 year and made it look old.
Found out polyurethane paint should not be touched by Carnuba wax as it will fade and chalk out.
Like boat paint.
Mine still has original ball joints and other original suspension parts.
I will change them if they fail.
