Question for police or lawyers

Can people legally put something in the street to slow traffic.Some neighbors put this in the street every weekend.I have seen several close calls because this sign is so far in the street.Just wondering if someone has a wreck trying to avoid this thing will the people that put it their be responsible?Thanks

Those people make me insane. Hey knucklehead watch your kids they are your responsibility, no one else's. Second you have a damn minivan and 4 door truck in your driveway. If you want to slow traffic down park those in the street.

Had a neighbor that did that years ago in Skiatook. Sign kept getting stolen they stopped with that nonsense after a couple signs disappeared. I suggest putting the sign in a safer place for drivers, like the trash can.

Seriously though call PD and have them move that hazardous object from the roadway.

No you can not put anything in a lane of traffic. Call the local PD and let them know what is in the street and the name/address of the person that placed it in the roadway. Let them make contact with the person.

I've got speeders in my neighborhood . 3 different families put these exact same things out when we play outside . There's always several parents outside with them but kids are stupid so you never know .
