Had a good time on Saturday. Prices for everyday guns seemed a tad high. Found a peep sight for my 1895 Savage, almost bought a 99 in 308. But the stocks were cracked in way too many places for the price.

On another note I did hear a lot of venders complaining about the table prices and having to be out of the building within 15 minutes of closing and a few other things now required by the expo center. ???

Yes, always some complaining on table prices. However, FWIW, the table price has held steady at $175 per table for at least the last three years..........So , complaints must be from the newbies. Don't know anything about being out of the building within 15 minutes of closing, as that didn't happen, nor will it ever given some of the larger vendors....

Regarding Sunday, I too hate to see other vendors pack it in early . Joe W. is supposed to be enforcing that strictly, and not allowing those vendors privileges at the next show.... He needs to step it up a bit.......... Regardless of crowd, I will always try to make it to the very end unless there's a building that's absolutely empty----then it's another story.

I think I saw more Model 99 Savage rifles there than I've ever seen. One in 250-3000, several in 308, and even a few in 300 Savage.

The problem was the prices. The least expensive one I saw was prices at $800, and that one has no bluing left.

I think I will email Wanenmacher show, complain about the vendors shutting down early.

This was my first time, I got through roughly 2/3 on Saturday from opening till 4:00. (I could barely walk after that much) Missed on a couple of good deals in line. Nice 9mm Polish PPS pistol for $350....
Saw some good deals on uppers, parts and holsters. One guy was selling some nice used complete uppers for $200 each. Doloo compact kits were $180.00
I had hoped to go back on Sunday, but was to tired. I will attend but do things differently in April of 2020.

Was able to meet harley128 and enjoyed talking with him, I did pick up a few things, I snagged a T-shirt, some beef sticks, a rechargeable battery for a flashlight and a small cheap range bag to carry it all in.

Got there on Saturday with my brother about 9 a.m. Crowd was pretty thick, at least to me. I had the brilliant idea to skip a row to get around a scooter only to find at least a half dozen more in front of me....

My brother was "kinda" looking for an Enfield (He likes the old military bolt actions and a couple years ago picked up a Moisin that looked like a basket case with a sewer pipe for a bore. He worked up some handloads for it and has the damn thing shooting near "clover leafs" at 300 yards, so he's always looking for the next project). He grabbed a Canadian 1942 with a modified stock and apparently a gleaming bore for a whole $250.

I was looking for some custom grips for my Sig Nightmare Fastback Carry and found some beautiful stingray over maple from Wicho Leather. I've seen them for years at the shows, but since I make my own holsters, I've never bought anything from him. He saw a pic of one of my holsters and was very positive; even encouraged me to get a table one day. Super nice guy. He's doing this for the right reasons and is a true artist. His exotic leather holsters are to die for! He was even giving away free matching mag carriers if you bought a holster.
