I will throw this one out there because no one has mentioned it. That is probably because it is not in OKC but is at least not too far away. Ken's Steakhouse in Amber Pocasset. I know I will suffer ridicule but I do not like cattleman's.

Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse would be my choice in Bricktown.

Wife says Mahogany Prime Steakhouse on Memorial. (Bring an extra arm and leg)

Ranch Steakhouse on Britton between May and 74. (Again bring extra appendages)

What’s the budget?

The Ranch, my favorite higher end without going over the top.
Red Prime, Same price range as above, ($50-$80 a person)
Mahogany Or Mickey Mantle’s if you want to spend more.

I don’t recommend Cattleman’s but McClintock’s Chophouse nearby is really good and has some packing town atmosphere.
Texas Roadhouse isn’t bad, but way to noisy for me.
Longhorn Steakhouse. I eat lunch here almost weekly and have had done very good steaks.

Abuelo’s, yes the Mexican Food chain has a really good seasoned mesquite grilled Ribeye with enchiladas! With Pappas con Chili and Charro beans!

Getting alot more input here Thank you...What do you recommend from the menu, not worried about the price, ..husband is paying ;)

I’ve had Cattleman’s a couple of times. I’m a ribeye guy and sirloin was all they served. The steak I got was decent though. Overcooked like most steakhouses, but the replacement was a proper medium rare.
Yes, the flies were pesky to say the least. I’m sure that won’t be an issue in the winter.

If you want an awesome steak, with awesome atmosphere, come to my house. I'll hook you up with a fresh cut of beef (we buy of beef direct from the slaughter house) a baked tater as big as a shoe and a fresh garden salad.

Afterwards, we'll build a fire in the fire pit, make s'mores and listen to the yotes holler on the south 40. And it'll be a helluva lot cheaper than any steakhouse you will ever visit.

Steakhouses should be ashamed of themselves charging 20 bucks or more for an 8 dollar ribeye. I mean, seriously...how hard is it to throw a steak on a grill, season it, flip it and put it on a plate. I mean, come on! :nono1:
