I’m a coffee snob and admit it. I love recently roasted beans from Hoboken Coffee in Guthrie. I have a burr grinder and use an Aeropress to make it. I normally have only 1 cup a day and enjoy it. If you’re near SW Edmond, pm me and come by to have a cup. I’ve converted several coffee drinkers over the years to the Aeropress method. The best part of waking up ain’t Folgers in my cup.

Same. I have an AeroPress, but usually use a French press. I use Double Shot beans. Their Sumatra is my favorite. Grind fresh each time coffee is made. I drink far less coffee now than I did before. Usually one, two cup thermos worth.

Before I retired, I was a coffee snob. Grind my own beans from Sumatra or wherever. Now I rarely drink it. My wife makes it for her with McDonalds K cups or the latest fad in a Keurig.

I have gotten to the point right now where I am having a cup a day. Much more than that and they muscles in my eye start twitching which is a pain when you use a computer most of the day.

I had a grind and brew pot, actually still have it but for the amount of coffee I actually drink that thing is a pain. If someone is interested in it it's just about like this one https://amzn.to/374GTfO and I will include a couple things of coffee to go with it.

Anyway someone gave me a keurig machine and to just drop in one of the things and have coffee I am fine. Using the off brand coffee shop ones right now but may go to the morning blend when I need some more. First box I bought was a variety one and most of them were ok but still have a couple that I didn't like sitting there.

To be honest while one may be nicer than the other in the taste and all to me it's like buying name brand vs generic when at the store. They both do the same job and one costs less, I would rather save the money and spend it on something else I will enjoy more. When I am in Jamaica I will probably grab a thing of coffee there to bring back, oh and if someone REALLY wants to have some of their coffee let me know before I go and I will see about shipping a box of stuff back or bringing some back with me.

LOL, what would happen if we had a steak AND coffee thread... Hmm would a mod combine them all together or would one of them end up deleted. Someone should find out.

Did you know Peet's has a few ties to Starbucks?

Jerry Baldwin learned the coffee trade from Alfred Peet, whose store Peet's Coffee & Tea, was the inspiration for Starbucks. Starbucks purchased roasted coffee beans from Peet's during its first year of operation.

In 1984, Jerry Baldwin, a Starbucks founder, bought Peet's four locations from Sal Bonavita. In 1987, Baldwin and his Starbucks co-investors sold Starbucks to focus on Peet's
I have seen that connection. Imo, Starbucks coffee isn't in the same league as Peet's.

For those of you that use a French press, do you have a preferred press?
