I have wanted to. Been a long time since I thought of it. I mainly wanted to do it so I could have a ruger 10/22 pistol. But seeing as they make them it probably be cheeper just to buy one. After buying all the separate parts and the 80% receiver plus whatever else you need to make it I think it may not be cost effective now. I see those ruger chargers going for 300 or less every now and then.

I've thought about it . . . but those receiver blanks are a little too pricey for my liking. Unless I'm looking at the wrong set.
I remember when that dude first started out. His first product was the bolt buffers. He sent me a bunch from Rimfire Central to try them out. He's good people.
Hmmm . . . do you also have the jig to finish it?
