You stated OKC area so I'll limit to that.

-Add a big thumbs up for Patty Wagon. My favorite fries are there, too.
-Lipsmackers is good, said he was moving to the Memorial Rd area though.
-If you like a big, char grilled burger with a patty a little on the thick side Earl's Rb Palace is pretty darn good.
-If you like a more conservative size burger that's closer to a diner burger type, I recommend Little Mikes on NW Expswy.
I forgot about Earl's. I don't care for their BBQ but the burger was pretty good.

If’n you just want a good grilled onion burger that won’t break the bank. Tucker’s with jalapeño’s is purty good.

I am very picky, so I usually just make my own. But, on the rare occasion I don't.. I usually go to Louie's. They will have something new to try. For a while they had a burger with half a lb of bbq on it that was 2 meals in 1.

I don't care much for any of the dedicated Burger joints in OKC. They're not exactly bad, just not much better than Whattaburger imo so they don't justify the price. That said, Nic's would be my favorite... just not worth the wait.

If only they would open a Fat Guys in okc!!

I'm sorry but after the original Ron's started selling franchises 25ish years ago. It never has the right to be in a top 5 list of burgers. It's hit no or miss depending on location.
An old buddy of mine used to wash dishes for Ron and his daughter at the original and only location at the time off Harvard at 15th St, was just a little bitty place with only a few stools at the counter. When we would hang out I would go in and wait on him to get off work and watch Ron make burgers- he would put the buns on top of the burgers on the grill and then put a pan on top to steam the bun.

Fat Guys is pretty good, but my current favorite is Flo's Burger Diner in Catoosa. The one in Tulsa has better seating options, though.

In the OKC area, I like the Garage in Norman. I need to try Tucker's now that they have a Norman location; I'd just about rather set my shorts on fire than go to OKC.
