Hey!!! You can't call it "Terry's steak."
I can't cook, so it can't be mine.
Now, while it isn't in Oklahoma, there is a restaurant in Colorado Springs called Edelweiss, that we stopped at one day after a day of off roading with a nephew and friend.
When we looked at the menu, the wife saw Filet Mignon and literally insisted that I order it, even though it was something like $27 at the time. When it came out, I was astonished. There wasn't just one steak, but two of them. Both done medium well and absolutely marvelous.
Why the wife insisted on me ordering that is a whole "nother story.
Just had a Ribeye from Texas Roadhouse on 240 --- and it was delic!! Top Shelf Patron Margerita with a Patron kicker was also great. May be that I'm just lucky, but I've never had even a marginal meal at the Roadhouse. Your results may vary.
The stillwater RH and I are not friends. My wife loves the kabob cooked well done which is gross to me, but it's hers so she gets it the way she wants.
I've done the pick out your own 14 oz ribeye everytime and order it medium rare. It always comes out well done. Every danged time. When I send it back and wait a half hour and everybody else is ready to leave my steak comes back cooked right but it's only an 8 oz or something. WTF? I'm paying for the 14oz, and ask for the manager to get the bill right.
Wife got some coupon or something a couple of weeks ago and wanted to stop there. Ordered blue rare.....it came out medium. I just ate it.
Gonna be pork chops from here on out or a burger. Texas road house may be different in your location but the stillwater location isn't good.
It sounds like you guys are not putting enough a1 steak sauce on it.
