I can't wait to see people's faces when it gets linked to lung cancer or something and the government starts trying to tax it out of existence like they have with tobacco.

Oh, the "it has 'X' times the amount of carcinogens as tobacco" scare tactic has already been out there for some time. They never mention that no one smokes 30 joints a day, but a pack-and-a-half a day cig habit isn't all that uncommon.

It's way past time for this. It may seem trivial until you consider how many people are rotting in jail for possessing a plant. And I'm not sure any tax revenue would be a whole lot more than the amount of revenue generated through its prohibition - especially with our newfound love of private prisons.

I have said many times I think it will be legal on a Federal level in the next 10 years. They want the tax money.

Yes, follow the money...( also who's getting in on the new business, or cashing in) ...They won't cut the budget, useless workers, useless programs...getting more scared to raise taxes, except the democrat crazies ...so the next best thing tax something new. Worry more about the push to go all out coke, LSD, mushrooms, Opioids ...anything goes. That will be the 2024 calling card for the Democrats, or one of them.
