Hold on...since they went with legal pot here in Ok. ...tax dollars are flowing...people who needed medical help are getting it. I have NO Problem with legal pot. None.

I have seen for myself over the years how it does help people, it does work on all ages. ...proper use....prevents abuse

I also agree that the big picture is more control and I also say freedom to do what you want as long as your actions do not harm others.

I would like to see the total legal reins taken off pot...It is the American way, Freedom.

It should be decriminalized. Period. My doctor has tried to get me to switch to it to help me get off suboxone but I can’t. I would also love to try it for my celiac disease and other GI related issues I have. I wouldn’t doubt if it would relieve many of my issues. I don’t care what anyone says, I know people that use it for legitimate reasons and it has made a huge difference in their lives. We all know the only reason drugs are controlled like they are is to give the government more control over us. It isn’t about safety. I don’t need the government telling me what I can and can’t take. We have the drug issues we do because of them. The tighter they make the regulations the worse things get.

1) I became diabetic when my hypoglycemia flipped. For many years I suffered with low blood sugar and had to eat several times a day. After a while that flips in many people.
2) GC has a lot of healthy choices including a decent salad bar and a lot of nice veggies. The steaks are not fantastic but passable and you can usually find baked fish, boiled shrimp, scallops, or similar. If you want dessert the portions are reasonable. It is not my fault if the crossfit wieners are lacking in willpower and can not make healthy choices from the large variety of food on offer.

And before anyone is dumb enough to comment, yes I am a larger than life fellow but what you do not know is most of my excess weight is from water weight and because of lack of exercise. When I was in the hospital I lost 60 pounds simply because they had me on large doses of lasix. They still keep me on small doses daily but do not want to keep the larger doses because of risk from that. As far as exercise, they let me use my exercise bike / ski machine and walk. That is it. Doc went ballistic when I told her the other day that I want to start doing crunches again. :P :P I knew she would but it was fun giving her a hard time after all the crap the docs have caused me this year.

I'm not really interested in why you are the way you are or excuses. You obviously don't live the healthiest of lifestyles and that's fine. I'm just relaying that before you go casting stones about "unhealthy" choices or lifestyles, you'd better have your house in order.

You can try to relate that the food at GC is high quality and healthy but that's honestly just a losing battle to those that know better. If it were, like I said, you'd see healthier people in there.... but you don't. Cheap, processed food just isn't that good for you. Baked fish bathed in butter and oil with a trip to the salad bar covered in ranch just doesn't cut it.
