I hate cancer. Just said a prayer. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. I know in times like these people will use Christian platitudes to help such as "God will not give you more than you can handle." This however is a lie and goes against scripture. 2 Corinthians 1:8-9 shows that He will give more than we can handle so that our trust is not in ourselves but in Him.
