I saw a post where someone said it looks just like the truck they drew when they were five.

It aint that bad David. As for the Chevy 2500s man they just keep trying to come up with something better than Fords Super Duty and they fail miserably every time. That is coming from a GM guy.

Ford will be the first manufacturer to drink the koolaid start putting out vehicles with similar lines. Ram will be the holdout.

$60k is a real attractive price point on these for the options Tesla throws at their vehicles. You cant hardly get a well equipped used truck with under 50k miles on em for the in my town. New full size trucks in town start around $60, the Ford place has em all the way up to $112,000. Trucks are too expensive these days. I looked at the same truck I bought a decade ago, same package but it has less standard features and it's more than doubled in sticker price.

It makes me think of an ugly El Camino. It might be OK for 40 pound bags of dog food and similar but forget hauling lumber, etc.

I do love their demonstration of the bullet proof glass.

You can take home an Ecoboost super crew XLT with some additional comfort and tech options (like the OK and TX editions) for around $35k after incentives and dealer markdown (aka the dickering): https://www.buyholidayford.net/new-Whitesboro-2019-Ford-F+150-XLT-1FTEW1CP2KKE47634

It's no Limited or 4x4, but it's plenty of truck for the suburban dad they're marketing 90% of trucks to these days. You don't have to drive to DFW either; just mention the TX dealers' prices and they'll come down on price pretty quick.

I had a Ford. I'll never own another lol

Three different dealerships in two states and two reps at Ford corporate told me that using 40% of the oil in a 5.4L over 3k miles was "normal for that motor" and not covered by warantee to fix.
