Hi I got a job

Hello gentlemen, I've been down on my luck lately and need to get a job... I'm very passionate about guns and in turn would love to be a gunsmith. I dont know of anyone who would let a noobie, apprentice under them... I would be happy to work for minimum wage or free as long as I could get my foot in the door. I'm young and inexperienced but I can clean, organize and help with the business in any way needed. Thank you for your time

Might check at local Gun Stores and such as a place to apply.

Right now a lot of these big stores are desperate for good counter help in the outdoors department. A guy with general knowledge might get a job pretty quickly. Those places pay better than minimum wage.

Not a gun shop but, you get to carry one in Ponca City. The PD has 10 openings.

Sportsworld has a gunsmith operation; you might check with them. Perhaps you could work the counter and occasionally work in the back.

Pick up a local (or nearby city) newspaper and check the "help wanted" ads.

Depending your definition of "need to get a job," you can probably find something to pay the bills until a preferred/better position comes along.

The other day Bill's sporting goods had a sign up for hiring. Sports world in tulsa needed somebody and maybe dongs. Lol.
Academy in owasso. Walmart. The casino,s.
Cashamerica. Ezpawn.sells guns.get your ffl. Set up a booth at gun shows on the weekends.
Go to votech, take machining classes so you can have a job and then setup your own gunsmithing business. And if you really want to be a gunsmith , Murray's state college in tishamingo has one of the few gunsmithing programs in the United states.they also teach summer classes for gunsmithing with the NRA. Just google it. Good luck and go for it. P.s.you could also join the military like I did. Or reserves or guard. Free training . Free college
