A few years back InRange TV did a series called "What would Stoner do?" where they used updated parts to come up with the AR that Stoner would have designed in 2015 or thereabouts. The GWACS/Cav Arms polymer lower caught my attention but as luck would have it they were no longer being produced. Evidently I wasn't the only one interested because InRange got together with Brownells and KE Arms to produce an updated version. Looks like it will be released at SHOT Show 2020.

I was also interested in them previously. After watching the video I was glad that I hadn't purchased one from the last run that was made. The improvements look promising. I don't really have use for another AR pattern rifle, but I may end up buying one of the lowers anyway.

That is, of course, unless Brownell's decides that the stripped lowers are worth $300...

Look to the right - in the "Products" column. They'll sell you the completed rifle for the low price of $1700...
I'm looking at it on my phone. I guess that part isn't showing up.

I would only be interested in a stripped lower and only if I'm convinced that it is built well enough to stand up and it provides a significant weight difference.
