It's pretty common actually. This is why its called "antlered or antlerless"That is wicked cool! Never knew a doe could have antlers.
On a side note, don't let any of your liberal friends know your daughter shot a transgender deer, they will have kittens and we don't need any more stray cats.
IN MY OPINION, if you shoot an antlered doe, you really thought you were killing a buck, so yes, it should count as your antlered deer. “Legally”, you shot a doe, so it shouldn’t count as your “buck”.Oklahoma proposed changes.
9. 800:25-7-52. Deer- primitive firearms (muzzleloading) • Commission may by resolution establish muzzleloading season bag limits up to 6 deer, no more than one antlered.
10. 800:25-7-53. Deer - gun • Extend deer gun season to 23 days. • Commission may by resolution establish deer gun season bag limits up to 6 deer, no more than one antlered.
I'm sure the existing regs say about the same about antlered deer they are just changing the total quantity. My question is are they subliminally acknowledging the fact there are a high percentage of doe with antlers?
If you take an antlered doe you are done taking any more antlered deer for that season?
