Camera activity has dropped off big time for me. Does and small bucks only lately.

I was going to get out today and tomorrow but I'm not too excited about driving down for does.

Guess I could take my predator call.

Ugh.

I am seeing the same thing and have the same thoughts as you. As a matter of fact, two nights ago, I wasn’t seeing any deer movement and this coyote came out in the last 15 mins of shooting light. A shot to the back of the head at 200 yds with 165 gr Hornady SST from my 300 win Mag did the trick.

This morning, I was watching 4 doe at a feeder when their heads went up. Here came a coyote streaking right through the middle of them. If he had paused, he’d be dead too.

All you fellas complaining about seeing nothing but does but heck I'd darn near give my eye teeth to have a nice big doe in the freezer right now.....I lost my long time deer hunting land five years ago because the landowner passed away and his city slicker family members divided it up and sold it off.

As most know it's next to impossible to find a good place to hunt nowadays unless you've got kin with land or have really deep pockets which kinda leaves this ol' boy out.

I enjoy reading the stories and seeing all the pictures of harvested deer and I wish the best of luck to all the OSA members still hunting.
