I loved directv when I had it but since moving in with my girlfriend, we just rely on Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, that AT&T Watch Now with HBO that I get free for having an unlimited plan on my phone and that new Disney one.

I do miss flipping through the channels, though.

OTA Antenna in the attic, feeds a 4 tuner HDHomerun to supply TV across my network. Roku boxes pick it up no problem and use Plex on everything else for management. Pay for NFLX, Hulu and leech sports off family's DirecTV.

Being out in the lovely middle of nowhere between Clinton and Weatherford the options for TV/internet are pretty bad.
I went with OTR mobile. Saw it discussed on Arfcom ( https://www.ar15.com/forums/General/Rural-internet--Alternative/5-2161887/?page=1 ) and thought hell, why not?
Costs me $60/month and the speeds are pretty good. Runs 5 devices without noticeable slow downs. We stream everything so it works well for us. Amazing what cellular signal can do.

Yep, we are in some pretty remote spots occasionally in our RV.
We run a WeBoost to amplify the cellular signal, have AT&T unlimited phone plans so we can stream and do whatever when others can barely take calls at the same location.

Sling made the deal with Fox and it is back!!~
National Fox sports channels--FS1, FS2 and Big10--are back. The regional sports channels, which are now owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, are still "in negotiations" though I doubt that Sinclair is budging from their hardline stand.

Which AT&T may be doing away with: https://www.cordcuttersnews.com/here-is-everything-we-know-about-att-tv-att-tv-now-att-watch-tv/. BTW, Cord Cutters News is an excellent resource for information on cord cutting: https://www.cordcuttersnews.com/.

Hmm. Well, that article was written back in August so I guess we’ll see. It’s just a free perk from att for having an unlimited plan. Hell, I didn’t even know I had access to it until about the time that article was conceived and I’ve had my unlimited plan since like, last Christmas?
