Crap should have read further!! This may be a great time to learn to build an AK, You can get a nodak spud receiver for like $100, proper bolt will be cheaper as will the Mag catch. I really enjoyed the process and learned a lot about the platform. Let me look ,I may have a mag catch and the ejector part in my bin of parts. Are the receiver rivets loose any where?
Rivets look to be good and tight and round. I'm not sure what the value would be with the end product of a Maadi rebuild.

When you take it apart can you replace the bolt and carrier with out the springs an get to to strip the rounds?
It is kind of hard to tell by pic if there is something keep the mag from fully seating, I know when I was building my AK74 I put to much bead on a weld and that caused issues in the mag well . Can you see any area on the mags that are rubbing more than other areas? My give you an area to look at!! Do you work in the city?
I work on the southeast side of OKC

Is a Maadi worth rebuilding depends on you I think, Installing the ejector and a mag release is easy then you buy a bolt and have a serviceable AK instead of a rifle sitting there collecting dust. Selling as is for a parts kit is going to get you maybe half of what you have in it if you can find a buyer cause that particular AK is not sought after !!

Can you give me an estimate of what it would cost for the afore mentioned parts?

I’d think $250 in parts and a few hours to rebuild it. Once done it’d have a value of maybe $400
Or you could probably sell it as is for $150-200.

So, are you saying a Maadi is only worth $400? I am just wondering, have thought about getting one.
I did a lot of research before I bought this one and $650 was a fair price for a MISR-10, the MISR-90 is the one to stay away from, it's a mixture of Chinese and Maadi parts. I'm thinking it would just be worth the $650 I already have in it. I'll have to really find some cheap surplus parts to make it worth while.
