To me they're pretty much butt ugly but then again for some strange reason they do kinda appeal to me, anybody own or ever fire one ?

The big appeal is supposed to be that the hot cylinder and the barrel are on the BOTTOM of the rotation, putting the barrel more directly in line with your grip (I'm not sure how to explain that, but it's supposed to help reduce recoil). I've seen a few at gun shows, but never handled one.

They appeal to me only in that they are something different, but they are too expensive for me to indulge my curiosity on that basis. I agree with the butt ugly evaluation.

I handled one a friend but have only fired one 6 shots. To me the grip is all wrong and does not feel natural in my hand. Same problem I have with Glock.

Beyond the butt ugly looks, i couldnt handle the sights that far above the bore. Just as bad as having a 12x scope on top of a carry handle.

I have one. 40DS in 9mm. So yes it looks wierd. :) And feels wierd a bit too until you get used to it. So far I have somewhere around 800-1000 rounds or so through mine including 300 or so in a day in a class. Moon clips make for fast reloads (for a revolver) and the muzzle rise (or lack thereof) is no joke. One of the things you have to be Very careful of is where you place your thumb, with the barrel lower than on a "normal" revolver you want to make sure you aren't getting caught with those expelling gases.

Honestly so far I like it. With good ammo very accurate, and very little muzzle rise. The trigger is long and heavy but smooth and once you get used to it isn't really a big deal. Like any other pistol it takes a little breaking in.

Fudd Jimmies LOL

Shot one in .357, tamed the recoil pretty well.

The same jimmies when I'm shooting that new fangled 6.5 creedmoor off a carbon tripod. I helped out at the sight in day at OKCGC this year and was asked if it came with a spaceship :greetings can't wait until I can tell them it's now chambered in 6mm GT.

I like the idea, but the Mousetrap game hiding under the sideplate gives me reservations. The price point doesn't help much either.
