I remember that. I think it was mostly because the word had not been spread yet and the on off ramps weren't complete. I remember driving on it from NW HWY to US 77 and saw no one. I sincerely hope the last of your statement is true.

I can remember when there were dang few cars on the Kilpatrick even after it was completed. As for the trolley system, El Reno put one in several years ago. They created a royal mess where they had to go back and make fixes to the road and the rail system. Now, there are claims (per this 2016 article) that the El Reno trolley helped the city with getting grant(s) to fix their flooding problem.

I've been searching online for the "schedule" of the El Reno system. I heard at one time that it only ran something like two days a week. I did see one reference where it runs from Wednesday through Sunday, but I don't have confirmation of that.

Any El Reno residents that can give more information on their trolley?

Apathy? I’d say so. Reports say less than 50,000 people turned out to vote. Oh; that’s right; they had to stay home to vote for their favorite singer on The Voice.

I went and voted. A big fat no. Looks about a 3 to 1 ratio and not many showed it all

Only about 7% of registered voters. I voted yes. The new Scissortail Park, Convention Center, and Hotel complex will be great venues for bring convention, conferences, etc., which brings tourist revenue. The streetcars will be a plus for that package. Having been involved in setting up several conferences, etc. for an international corporation, those were the kind of things we would look for.

I would have been happier if we could have voted on the individual projects.

Should MAPS projects continue as proposed each year for the betterment of OKC?

MAPS 4 should continue, then expire, then we look at other options.

I like the MAPS projects but think each individual project should be voted on.

I say stop MAPS now and look for something better. These are getting ridiculous
