I saw that. What an idiot! If more people were carrying concealed they wouldn't be wondering where the shooter is now. He wouldn't of made it outta the shoe store.

I would like to think that, but more than likely there should have been far more victims. I would not be surprised if the truth is that there were indeed several carrying, but had the good sense to keep it concealed unless they were actually facing a threat.

Let’s say you are in mall carrying concealed when shooting went down and put on lock down. When SWAT shows up and starts escorting people out, what do you do? Keep your mouth shut and hope they don’t search everyone or calmly declare you are carrying?

You’ll sit there awhile in advance, if you have an SDA I’d have it in hand when they make it to your location.

If no SDA, hands visible and say you do have a weapon on you.

In this situation, there’s obviously a known (description wise) suspect. But in a legit active shooter with the chaos that comes with it, everyone is getting patted down so better to eliminate that surprise.

How so? You’re making an assumption that a trained concealed carrying citizen would have caused far more victims. It’s possible of course but I’d rather be armed and make that choice rather than unarmed looking for the nearest exit. Do you have any examples of a concealed carrier causing “far more victims” in such a situation? I can provide several where a concealed carrier stopped others from being shot.

If I'm in a shoe store and and a shooter starts firing then I've got enough "good sense" to know I'm facing a threat. I will be firing my weapon until the threat is stopped.

And if the liberals succeed one day in taking registered weapons from lawful owners that leaves guns in the hands of someone with “pants on the ground” and red underwear. We’ll all be a birds nest on the ground.
