i know what’s out there on the market but I’m looking for personal reviews from folks who’ve actually run commercial ammo in their stock Garands.

What have you used, accuracy, similarity to M2 ball ballistics, cleanliness etc?

Thanks for that. I'm looking for feedback on the current options on the market that match M2 ball ballistics/trajectory.

SMS a single stage press setup for one caliber won't break the bank and it'll return your investment pretty quickly.

IMR-4895 is THE powder you'll need. H4895 works great too, but IMR is exactly what the military used. The rest is easy. Bullets, primers and brass, which you probably have some of.

On several garand forums, multiple users reported that Remington 150gn Cor-lockt shoots nearly identical to M2 ammo, gives excellent accuracy and is perfectly safe for Garands. The great thing about that is that this ammo is available dang near anywhere that sells ammo.
