Yup. They tried to put us in the Radisson, but I asked if we could stay in another hotel and they put us in the Hampton.
Good choice lol.

My wife and I go to the Big Cedar Lodge about every third year. We go the last of October and stay about a week. Usually catch the leaves turning. We never go into Branson. We usually spend a lot of time checking out the nearby scenery and take a lot of pictures. The closest we get to Branson is the College of the Ozarks. Their culinary school has a restaurant that has some pretty fair food.
Last time we went to Lambert's the wife and I ordered meatloaf. Menu said "Just like momma made it" or something to that effect.
Well I learned momma can't cook, the worst meatloaf ever! Neither of us ate it. It was about 3/4 lb of hamburger with no seasoning, not a thing cooked into it, just ketchup squirted on it. Just a lump of baked hamburger. Don't care if I ever go back there.

I got the chicken fried steak with mashed taters, corn and baby carrots. Then, of course, they come around with fried taters, fried okree, mater noodles and sorghum for them hot rolls. Yum yum! Best meal I have had in a long time.

+1000 on the Culinary school at the college. We eat there every time we get in that area. Everything from the beef, pork, chicken, and veggies are grown right there. Seafood is the only thing brought in.
Takes 3-4 days advance reservations at the peak of tourist season and a week or more for dinner.
Well, we just got home. FINALLY!
We were gone 4 days, but there's over a weeks worth of clothes and crap in there. That's what happens when you travel with females.
So now, I gotta tackle this behemoth.
