I can tell you this. OU consistently gets screwed by the refs. It isn’t just this game. There were numerous linemen down field during passes by LSU and it was never called. The blatant pass interference wasn’t called either. That’s one of the most ridiculous no calls I have seen to date. And I’ve seen some ridiculous ones. The refs didn’t cost us the game though. We did. But there is definitely a reason for us sooner fans to complain about the refs. Anyone with half a brain knows how much OU gets cheated.
It's amazing then that OU manages to win 80-85% of their games. If refs are cheating us, they are ineffective, so why worry about it so much?
I agree about the PI. They let a lot of stuff go, as they did in the other semi-final. It's just frustrating that this is a common theme after every. single. game. Win or lose.

Completely agree . And I'd be willing to bet most fan bases say the same thing after each loss, especially after a loss.
What sooner boards do you follow? Only one I know of is sooner scoop and it's a paid forum
The ref’s? They got slaughtered. I’m surprised LSU didn’t suit up the band at the half. They probably could have still scored against the pathetic defensive performance OU put up. There are always going to be some missed and poor calls. A touchdown or 2 and someone might buy it. OSU had a pathetic bowl game performance as well. Maybe next year both will do better.

It's pretty typical for fans to complain about refs after a loss, but as Sooner fans we complain just as much after a win. </shrug>
