What do you guys think of John Correia? I watched his YT analysis video and it seems fairly spot-on to me. I wartched a few of his other videos maybe a year or so ago, too. He seems overall to be pretty level-headed, but I also know there are a lot of 'operators' out there who spout what sounds good but isn't tactically sound. I'm not going to pretend I'm anything more than a casual shooting enthusiast who needs to work and practice more, so I'm just curious about some of ya'll's opinions.

In our church security meetings, our focus has been getting people out, not about reaching out and stopping the threat - which I think is probably pretty appropriate, given the training level (or lack thereof) of most of us, I know a lot of the guys who were muzzling the congregation and such in that video are well-meaning but likely poorly-trained or poorly-practiced casual guys as well. I don't want to be a passive participant if something like this happens, I want to make a difference if possible, but most importantly be able to assess the situation for what is possible given the circumstances and my own personal capabilities as they fit into that scenario.

God forbid, I hope I never have to see it or be a part of it.

But my wife and my son sit next to me in church, and lots of good people sit around me in church. I'd hate to think that pure and plain evil killed one of them when I might have been able to do something to prevent it.

John is spot on in almost everything I’ve ever seen from him. I met him a couple of years and shot with him at a training event. He put on a 2 hour presentation on data he gathered from the videos with tons of examples. This was a Tom Givens class with a very top list of self defense instructors in attendance. Lookup Tom and RangeMaster to validate the level of training that goes on there.
John has since went full time (or about that time) with the videos.
John also has contributed in a private Rangemaster Instructor Only group I’m a member of.
The only negatives I ever hear are because of his promotion efforts for his page/channel. He has to make a living, so I can take that part of it.

A lot of his data findings verify Tom’s data he has gathered on his students involved in shootings. 66 or so shootings. That’s a big number. All won, but 3. The 3 lost because they were not carrying at the time.

I would recommend that your church hire someone to meet with the administration and head members of the security team to assess their plan.

Steve Moses would be my recommendation.

He is a Texan, but has Oklahoma roots.

Do we know the motive for this or the NY attack yet. I am sure the NY attack will get glossed over since it was a black guy attacking Jews, which means the attacker was probably Muslim. I would like to know the level of evil. Oh and saw this on FB and loved it.

He's articulate, intelligent, unassuming, modest and well practiced with firearms. The main stream media and political left's worse nightmare.
I agree, but I can't help but think he shouldn't be talking to the news. Especially on something that happened so recently. Its a clean shoot as clear as can be, but man I don't think this is a good idea.

Not yet, that I know of. But, he had mental issues in the past. He has history in Oklahoma including a couple of felonies in Grady county.

Agree. Even in this case his attorney should be speaking for him until the AG clears him of wrongdoing.

When I saw one interview his phone kept ringing. I kept saying aloud. “Answer it, it is your attorney saying shut the hell up.”

I would be more worried about civil than criminal in this case. No way the grand jury would take it.

I also questioned the timing of his Facebook post for campaign donations. Even if not meant as such, the negative intentions that could be perceived and twisted.....

It looked like a 15-20 yard shot to me, under a high pressure situation for a civilian. Like me. How was that for a do or die effort?
