Just for your consideration:

Thanks for posting this. I know a lot of people will be disappointed in the $700 price range. Many were hoping that Ruger would price this 57 closer to $500.

If someone can come out with a 2000fps or more self defense ammo for this and the price comes down I would be interested in one for a nightstand pistol.

Surely Ruger will come out with a carbine in 5.7 now that they are in the game.

I've spent a lot renting the FiveSeven at 2A..... I think I'll have to buy one of these.
I'm a sucker for odd calibers like 10mm and 357 SIG so it seems the thing to do.

$650 street is what I am hearing. Lets be honest a FN5.7 is a lot more than that. So Rugar is probably adding a couple hundred because they figure they can.
