Suicide at Shawnee Outdoors???

Has anyone heard about this?

Someone was telling me about it today. They said the guy bought a gun and some ammo, then went into the restroom and shot himself.

There sure isn't much about it online that I can find.

On Thursday, at approximately 12:05 p.m., an unidentified male was transported to OU Medical Center after receiving a self-inflicted gunshot wound at Shawnee Outdoors in Shawnee, Citizen Potawatomi Nation Director of Public Information Jennifer Bell said Friday. As of press time officials at OU had not returned phone inquiries on the man's condition.

That's probably the most news you'll find on that. Most suicides never make the news.

Nor should they. Suicide in a family is a true tragedy, and most of us are really good at saying the wrong thing.

Yes, although the details were slightly different from the version I received.

Unfortunately, it is not that uncommon in the industry. Sad, but it happens.
