AccuWeather has been saying "snow for at least the next 120 minutes" for my location since 8am-ish. It has finally been proven AccuRate. Got some nice pretty snow and some wet sidewalks now, with some big ol' fluffy snowflakes floating down.
Certain weather conditions do tend to amplify the "BOOM" as the sound travels from the range into town. It used to unnerve my wife by rattling the apartment windows when I was at the FA Officer Basic Course in 1978.
