I switched to Aldis sausage. Blue and Gold got to expensive for those of us on a fixed budget and the last few times we did buy a little to help out a friends kid, it just was not like it was years ago.

The Aldis sausage is not bad flavor, pretty lean, and $2 a pound.

I never go to Aldi's but I might have to try their sausage.

Like others here I gave up on B&G sausage long ago when they changed their recipe and I have a difficult time finding a good breakfast sausage that tastes anything like it used too.

I have been buying sausage patties in a big box at Save-a-Lot but it is just okay.

I haven't seen Blue and Gold on sale in a while, thanks for the heads up that it ain't what it used to be.
I'll have to swing by Aldi and give theirs a try.

I have never had any Braum's sausage.
This will start a small scale war, but their Hot Links are too much for my delicate palate.
Braum's Hot Links just give me a** burn.
Y'all can have my share.

The wife and I went into an Aldi not too long ago. Got me some of the packaged cinnamon rolls that were marked down because of the date was a little high. They were good. Ill be sure to try the sausage now too

The Aldis sausage is OK but nothing great, but at $2 a pound it is not bad. Only problem is sometimes the seasoning is way to lite.

I’ve had the Aldi sausage several times, it’s cheap and tastes fine. I’m sure there is better but I still like it

Last time I bought the Blue & Gold it was about 90% fat and had a funky taste. 2 years in a row like that, not buying again. Been getting JC Potters lately. Did have Jimmy Dean's this morning, it's not the same either.

Yep, same here. When you cut a patty from JC Potter sausage, it’s dark red(meat) vs mostly white (fat) from Jimmy Dean and lately Blue and Gold.
