Let's get real, the left is still pushing the narrative that Trump was supporting the white supremacists in Charlottesville when he said there were 'good people on both sides', even though he specifically and immediately said, "not those people", meaning the white supremacists. It's a blatant example of editing a quote or video clip to make it appear someone said and meant something they didn't, but the MSM has continued to push that since that day, in spite of being debunked repeatedly. It's shameless and if it were me, I'd have been suing their asses into bankruptcy court.

Don't even dream that they're going to try to present all the information for any given situation.

Glenn Beck has been on this all morning, with callers from VA, etc. He is also planning on being in Richmond next Tuesday to report. While normally callers to a show like this tend to be a bit "outspoken", there was one caller earlier that gave a much better view of the total situation there. His comments were that all of this and the other outlandish moves by the state govt. can be primarily blamed on the consistent poor voter turn-out. We can easily see Oklahoma in the same light. Voter apathy is what allowed Kendra Horn to be elected.

Yes, I know the "elected are all crooks and spawn of Satan" voices will be jumping in here in short order, but if we don't get involved in the process, vote, and then support those who are actually honest (there are many) then we can expect things to not go the way we would like.

I am hoping that the real 2A supporters will present our views and stance in such a way that will help change the minds of many of the average Americans that currently are only seeing the media view of "gun violence".

West Virginia is encouraging VA counties to secede

In a display of pro-Second Amendment solidarity, a group of West Virginia lawmakers have introduced a resolution inviting Virginia counties frustrated by gun control efforts to switch states.

Delegates in the lower house of the West Virginia Legislature put the proposal forth on Tuesday.

House Concurrent Resolution 8 would allow certain Virginia counties and independent cities to be admitted to West Virginia as constituent counties.

As for Northam declaring a State of Emergency and denying carry at the rally, what are the odds of him calling out the National Guard? What are the odds of a "Kent State" type event? What are the odds that if that were to happen, Trump would federalize the VA Nasty Guard and take Northam's toys away from him?

What are the odds of this starting an actual Civil War?

Seriously, these are VERY interesting times in the Republic, and not in a good way. If we don't back these tyrants down now, it will happen more and more often in other places across the country. Northam and his Klan cannot and must not be allowed to succeed here. I hope he gets owned soon.

Odds low on all topics (I think)

If folks behave on Tuesday, I believe it will turn into a non-event, the press will move on to some hotter topic, and the VA legislature will see that they overstepped their mandate from the voters.

If some jerkwad, on either side, blows it up, all bets are off.

Are you forgetting Saul Alinsky’s: In the beginning the organizer's first job is to create the issues or problems? How many weapons did Obama/Holder traffic into Mexico just so that they could “Break Some Eggs” and get people killed for their “gun control” agenda advancement?

If any violence happens Monday, regardless of who starts it, the media and the dems are already blaming right wing extremists, and will somehow make it more evidence that guns should be confiscated.
And the truth about who started it will come out days later and not be mentioned in the MSM.

Keep in mind that while we try to poo-poo the efforts of the Democrats, Colorado used to be a pretty conservative state. However, after the influx of hippies in the '60's, things have turned around. They did enact firearms related legislation, specifically the 10 round magazine one. While it may come about that this is much ado about nothing, I'm inclined to remember that "progressives" believe that the way to achieve their aims is to "progressively" change laws when they can to reach their goal.

As for the Supreme Court, even after the Heller case, the MacDonald case was also needed, but so far as I know, SCOTUS has NOT given carte blanche to gun owners. Automatic weapons are highly controlled and they are working on semi-automatics as we discuss this.

In as much as I like the last two or three justices added to SCOTUS, I still don't have a lot of trust in them.

After all, it was SCOTUS that allowed people to kill their unborn babies.
