1971 Chevy nova 4 door.

It was a straight 6. You could get it to 95 MPH, going downhill, with a strong tail wind.
No AC, no radio, vinyl seats (real fun in the summer). Thermostat would stick every year. Pull the thermostat in the spring when it stuck, put a new one in when winter hit so it had heat.

Plus side was it would run no matter what.... Water in the carb, still runs. Thermostat issues, pull it and keep going. Rear-end a Honda hard enough to crumple the rear bumper into the rear tires, drove the Nova home with only a slight crinkle in the hood and passenger fender. Spark plug wire broke, keep driving. Alternator goes out, jump start it and drive it 10 miles home.

This isn't it, but this is what it looked like, only mine had steel rims.

Dang you all,
I have a pretty good idea where this car is now. Now you all have me wanting to go see if it's possible to get it back and make it run again...

Some of you guys are getting up there in years. :)
Mine was a 75 oldsmobuick cutlass salon.
I should have listened to my dad because one he was way smarter than I'll ever be and two because he wanted me to get a 67 mustang.
I'd like to say that was the last dumb choice I made but.....

1950 Chevy 2 door coupe. Engine was overhauled and balanced and it ran like a top. On those Chevys you could tell how fast you were going based on the noise the engine made in 3rd gear. I wish I had it now and I wish I had all of your used-to-be cars! I'd give them all back to you and we could form a club!

You said "vehicle" so this was it,,,
1964 80cc Suzuki Hillbilly.

[Broken External Image]

For two years I tore up the mean streets of South Oklahoma City riding this gal.

My first car I bought new in November of 1967,,,
1968 Plymouth Road Runner.

That thing was a monster
335 ponies out of a 383 engine.

13.89 second quarter mile.

This isn't a picture of my actual car (obviously),,,
But it's exactly the same color
