Of course. We're the same, posting 4 threads about it on here. I am just as guilty. We all are - we want to talk about shocking things when they occur. This stuff I don't see as quite as big of a deal as some of the political 'scandals' they are pushing as soon as someone breathes a word...

Flying in Heavy Fog is never a good idea no matter who you are. News reports state that the local PD Helicopters were grounded at the time of the crash due to heavy fog.
BTW- Helicopter in heavy Fog is the same way that Stevie Ray Vaughan was killed. Alpine Valley Wisconsin. 1990

I'm guessin' most of the US adult population knows who he is.

It's just a news item, folks. No need to get yer panties in a twist because some folks comment on it.

His wife lost her husband, and his other children lost their Dad. I don't see that as frivolous.

Somewhere in a sandbox far away a 20 year old Marine lost his life and his wife and daughter are with out husband/dad and you'll never hear **** about that. Kobe never served his country that I'm aware of yet they rewrote the agenda for the Grammy Awards over him dying.

That doesn't make Kobe any less dead, nor his family's loss any less devastating, nor the topic any less of a news item.

If Kobe were that Marine, we wouldn't be discussing his demise either.
