Hmmm...I've always used a slurry of cornstarch to thicken up my soups/sauces/gravy/chili.

Couple hours in, the snake has been moving along once it hit temp it's bet 230-240 the whole time.

How many oz is that packet? Of maybe you could measure it in a measuring cup. Asking cause I have a lb bag I can use.
I’m not going to open it right now cause I’m not gonna use it. But it looks to be about a tablespoon to 1.5 tablespoons

Ever try it with V8? I use it in place of tomato juice in some of my cooking.

No water added, I used a large can of tomato juice. I like it just fine this way. Toss in a crumbled up piece of cornbread and WALLAH, no more soup.

Try spicy Bloody Mary mix sometime.
