Thanks @Shadowrider. It sure looks Sig-like, but it could be the ZOAF, their reverse engineered version of the P226. Or, given his position, maybe he had a real Sig? Oh well, whatever. He won’t need it anymore now anyway.

A summary of what I've read is that the Iranians reverse-engineered the Sig P226 and make an unlicensed copy called the ZOAF PC-9. Who knows how well they run? Very few of us! It sure would be interesting to see one next to a real SIG to compare.
