I'm looking for a 30mm scope mount for an AR.

I would prefer a quick release version but I am looking for anything that is really worth the money.

Of course I don't want cheap junk but I can't afford " the best" either.

What do you all suggest for a good mount on a tight budget?

For balling on a budget, I'm a big fan of buying higher quality used stuff than lower quality new stuff. Especially items like this that generally arent "wear" items
I agree but I don't see many of these for sale and I don't buy used online.

I missed out on a 30mm mount here because the scope I was thinking of getting at the time has a 1" tube.

I have never had an issue with Burris mounts. The perp is a nice product. I am not real crazy about the quick releases on any mounts I have tried. I prefer to be able to torque my mounts down. I think the quick releases are really just a gimmick.

A slightly cheaper alternative that I have used and had no issues with is Weavers mount. https://www.amazon.com/Weaver-Thumbnut-Spr-30Mm-Mount/dp/B00AU6DDE4
Its not as robust as the Burris but can be hard around $50 but no quick release.
